Classroom reveal part 2!

Monday I showed you the major parts of my room. Today I want to focus on some of the small areas. One of my favorite finds this summer has been the magnetic curtain rod. I found the idea on Pinterest. It is an easy way to display my theme song or chart and I can easily move it. Here is what it looks like in use...
I really love the way I am able to hang my theme chart right on the chalk board at the front of the room. Click HERE to check out the original pin on Pinterest.

Most of the students in my class are labeled autistic and require one to one instruction. I created a small instruction area near my desk.
This is a nice area to pull students to work on skills or to test. It is separate enough to help kiddos stay focused, but I can still keep an eye on what is going on in the rest of the classroom.

Leave me a link in the comment section. I would love to see your classroom photos!

  1. I like the magnetic curtain rod -- it makes for an easy way to display a chart and it's portable so it can be moved to various areas of the classroom as needed. Great idea!
