Teacher Survival Kit

I am linking up with Stephanie from Mrs. D's Corner and Destiny from Terrific Teaching and Learning.

We were randomly assigned partners to swap survival kits with. My partner was Crystal from The Balanced Teacher. If you haven't checked out her blog, you should! I love the Thirty Minute Thursday series she is doing right now. I need all the help I can get in the back to school season!

Crystal sent me a survival kit full of my favorite must haves for the back to school season! Look at all these goodies!!!

On top of a sweet note, I also got chocolate. Instant love!!

Purple pens and pretty pencils? Yes, please! I had never tried these pens before, so I was excited to give them a try.

As a special ed teacher I write and rewrite my schedule a million times. These cute pencils will get a workout for sure!

These binder clips match the colors of my classroom. I think I am going to designate each color to a different action I need to complete. Blue is going to be copy. Pink is going to be file and purple is going to be take action. Things like share info with my team, fill out, etc. will go in the take action clip.

Velcro!! It is my go to tool to fix any problem in my classroom. Are students getting frustrated when materials move? No problem! Fix the problem with Velcro. I have even used Velcro to fix room issues that the custodian can't remedy. The door to our paper towel dispenser wouldn't stay shut no matter what. You guessed it! Velcro to the rescue!! I cut a small piece of Velcro and made a little latch for the door. Problem fixed!

As if all of that wasn't enough....Crystal also sent me a Target gift card. I have a serious obsession with Target. Have you been to the dollar spot? No need to say more!

I had so much fun buying for Crystal and going through all of my goodies. Thanks again to Stephanie and Destiny for organizing it!

Check out all the other survival kits that were delivered....
